Frazzled you said in words perfectly what my poor attempted post 39 minutes prior to yours tried to say. All I would add is I do believe in " happy ever after" and I really hope it works out for ya, " atthecrossroads" The Rebel. -

To answer your questions:-
Q.1. I left and my marriage is still in tact.
Q 2 . " are we both happy? if you mean in our religiouse relationship, our last fight was over the noice she made from the vacuum cleaner as I watched T.V. That may seem a silly comment but we both realised it was more fun than arguing religion.
I hope you can instigate similar arguments, so your man realises a good husband has house hold chores that are more important than religion.
Wish you the best.

Let's get offensive...it's ridiculous
by The Rebel inwow shall i start with classic books and films?
no let's start with t.v and what was never high culture- " confederate flag gets dukes of hazard yanked" .
ok this was just entertainment to me, that i never recall being racist.

So coded the point is not as you said " businesses being concientious of what people want to watch. It's not a statement about what people can or can not watch"
The decision to pull the programme was based on " what people can or can not watch" as the decision to pull the show was based on people's attitude to the confederate flag.
off topic on another discussion forum " Frank Price" the former president of universal, commentated that in the 1970s they discovered that it was the woman not the man who made the decision what programme was watched on T.V. I only raised the point because I love the old T.V western shows and wondered why all the forums on the shows have mainly women members. Yes the old T.V westerns such as Gunsmoke, and Rawhide, were targeted to appeal to women first. ( I just found that interesting)

Won't get fooled again ...Moon Landing.
by The Rebel inso i was fooled by the witnesses.
what can i learn from that?
not to accept things at face value but to seek out opinion and different view points.. hence my question " do you believe man landed on the moon?.

Violins :- maybe but I had hoped Viviane realised it was a tongue in cheek comment.
Anyway I am glad that here we have house rules to ensure some level of niceness.
Maybe I do not comprehend the critical thinking skills capable of weighing up the evidence. But then again what % of people who bother voting have a clue?
Anyway the key word is facts not opinion. And I accept my opinion may be different from facts, And facts are certainly different from Jehovers Witnesses irrefutable facts. And facts are also often different from the opinion of expert witnesses, and sometimes those who think themselves experts.

Anyway coded my point was the network decided not to run the show, because it promoted the confederate flag. Walmart won't sell lynyrd Skynyrd music which displays the confederate flag. Of course business makes decisions to maximise profits, but all this stuff about the confederate flag has to do with what happened in Alabama.

Yes you make a good point, and nothing coded about your logic.
I guess it's the same way Walmart does what maximises profits. But I don't agree with them and their stance on the confederate flag and that don't make me racist.

Violins it is posted on the section friends. The subject matter is not noncence, however the subject matter we discussed in the Kingdom Hall was noncence. I am disgusted having researched how the money i donated as a witness was invested in tobacco companies and far worse, which is why I addressed the money issue on the moon project. Personally I think you would be amazed in the transformation in me since I left the witnesses fairly recently. I am confident, have a smile on my face and discussing this subject has been very beneficial for my re-programming.
I am sorry you were " so embarrassed when you saw the title of this thread" I have seen what I consider worse titles, and besides the thread has been conducted very respectively by the posters, which is a complement to all those who have participated in what is perhaps a controversial subject.
Kind Regards

agreedwith you freemindfade.I believe the moon landing happened. But having spent the evening reviewing this thread I don't see any definitive proof that man went to the moon. However before the abusive ranting, I think it highly likely they did. thereforeI will be researching these two questions this week:-
A) Do I believe the Official story that man landed on the moon in 1969 is fact.
B) Do I believe that the still photographs and videos prove NASA lied to the world.
I am glad this thread has awakened me to the separate issues of how the project became a distraction from Vietnam. Re the genocide from Vietnam I wonder if the money from NASS subcontractors was from the companies that made those weapons of mass destruction? Finally I personally do not agree even if man did land on the moon it was worth the open cheque.
